The scorpion and the grasshopper always hold a unique meaning to fans of Gaston Leroux's original Phantom novel. Erik's ultimatum to Christine forced her to choose between marrying her ghoulish captor, or deny him at the peril of everyone in the Opera House. It was implied that the grasshopper was connected to the stores of gunpowder Erik had wired to blow the building sky high.

I recently found this brilliant, antique Japanese bronze grasshopper figurine, and knew I had to acquire it. It just arrived from Japan, and is a brilliant piece. Paired with an antique Chinese scorpion and model caskets, it makes a beautiful addition to my Phantom collection.

I have no clue how to send this in a coherent way but I hope so badly miss mousey knows a grasshopper mouse, AKA the werewolf mouse. I just think one of her babies learning how to SCREEEEEE howl at the moon would be so fun.

I imagined Mariella (mom) have a grasshopper mouse cousin who's some kind of sustenance hunter wild woman and obviously a great babysitter.

In human-monster romances, whenever the woman in the relationship's the Beast, they usually don't look that beastly. With this monster bride's design, I aim to fix that. Still deciding on her name, was thinking something Romanian given her story's setting. I've considered Loredana, Luminita, and Artamona.

I don't talk about ocs often but my dungeon meshi oc is obsessed with bugs just regular bugs (as I am irl) and idc if it's not canon but 100% regular non-magical bugs would also be chilling in dungeons like no possible way otherwise bugs are just too hardy so my character would go through dungeons to make money but would also love seeing the ecosystems these insects are taking in dungeons and she'd always be excited to see new bugs and she'd know everything about monster bugs as well but her deep love of bugs also means she loves to eat them because bugs in their own world are always eating each other it's a bug eat bug world out there so loving them as much as she does she can't help but eat them cause it makes her feel closer to them and love them more and idk what she does with the main cast but just know she's in there... looking for bugs
